History

If you want to see some history on your trip to San Ramon, visit the Forest Home Farms. The property covers 16 acres of the San Ramon Valley where the Boone House still stands. The original structure was built in 1900 along with a huge barn and several outbuildings. On the south end of the acreage, you can take a tour of the Glass House Museum. The Glass House is a two-story Victorian built before the Boone House. The white siding has been masterfully restored to its original grandeur, and the landscape resembles the 1900 gardens.
